I'm not connected with DAP except I had my stag do there and have been shooting there a few times...

Anyone fancy it? I might drag my s2 along.

Hi there!

I've just bought a Disco 2 V8 for towing my track car. Getting the chance to use it in anger would be great! I'll pop along.

Thanks for posting up.

Nice one, I might see you if my old bh doesn't break down... hehe

It won't be difficult - it'll be aimed at road-going shiny 4x4's and your disco will be in its element!

Cheers,

I'll deliberately leave it dirty so i don't look like too much of a 4x4 driving commuter!!!

I'll lookout for you. What colour is the Defender?

Oh it's not as good as a defender! It's a series 2 ex-MOD lwb hard top. Big, dirty, camouflaged thing with a roof rack.

I've not decided 100% I'm going but at the moment I'm about 90%...

Cheers

Hey folks!

Well I lost my off-road cherry today! Had an excellent time in the Disco. Seriously, i never thought it would make it through some of the mud there but it did! It was a little odd driving into the deep mud as normally, being car cleaning freak, i'd shy away from getting the car i'm driving too dirty! Still, it was quite freeing not to worry about the car being clean.

We arrived at about 10.20 but needed to leave at midday for lunch. It certainly turned some heads when I arrived at the club in a rather mucky Discovery but hopped out in my sunday best!

Overall my girlfriend and I had a great day out. I'm definately going to head back another day and give some of the more extreme parts of the course a try!!

Cheers

Is it an external roll cage? Do you have a Lotus sticker on the back too? If so then i was the Disco behind you as i went for my second run. You went on to do the 'extreme' route!!
