No, doesn't really work that way, it's up to the Court in most cases and judged on merit. I got caught doing well in excess of 30mph over the limit a short few years ago on the A90 near the Laurencekirk bypass. Replied by letter, adding a grovelling apology and I got 4 points and £400 fine. The cops that pulled me told me to expect a ban, but my letter seemed to have the desired effect.Gassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
