'kin ell, I was in the Liquid Rooms last week too. Was going to have a word with the management about residential gig photography. I was out in town last night too, although at Old St Pauls down beneath North Bridge. Had no idea anything was up.
There was a bad flat fire just a few doors up from me on Balfour St last week too. Wonder if there's a firebug.

Holy Crap! Where does that leave me with my Hue&Cry tickets for Febuary?
Great venue, I remember going to see Fish there years ago, they were re-selling tickets at the door, way more people than should have been in there, great though! As for Hue and Cry, new album just out, first track (And set to be the comeback single).....Fireball

Just like the Shack going in Glasgow all those years ago
I don't like the way you said that. I used to go clubbing in there. How many years ago are we talking?I'm worried now.

As recession turns in depression we are going to see a few more fires as flaky business owners take the only profitable way out ... no reference to this weekend's spate ... of course.
LA, you over for a beer on the 15th of Jan? Get yer arse to the pub, old man
It was a weegie's fault. Bumped into him in the hostel I was staying at on 2nd (opposite the SMPD, above which my uninsured car resided for a month ) - with my kilt and his accent, the plan was hatched to do "500 Miles". Little did I know, the git had an ulterior motive - refused to hand back the mic and asked the crowd if they wanted to know what a Scotsman wore under his kilt. I was too inebriated to twig in time, et voila...
Angus was his name, as I recall. A pro-skateboarder, so he said.
I went back the next day and apologised
Actually, between the King's Head, Britannia, Yankee Doodles and the Criterion, I'd love to go back there.

A pub crawler who crawled back and apologised! I don't need to tell you what the place is like
