Has anyone used them? How much do they charge?

I will be through early tomorrow for the night out and plan on a bit of retail therapy (surprise surprise) and thought while I had the car parked up I would get them to wash it. Pure lazyness on my part but I imagine the car will be in some state by the time I hit the granite city.

Recommended or not? Certainly won't be doing it if I have to leave the kyes with them that's for sure.

Don't you know there's a credit crunch on yikes, can't you just leave it out in the rain?

£6.95 for a wash and wax. Had this done last week and they did a great job.

Must admit my girlfriend had her car done at the Trinity centre quite a few times now. The first time I told her not to bother, they'll just leave swirl marks etc.

However the car came back looking like new. Wheels were clean, tyres were "dressed". In interior carpets has been properly cleaned, they were still wet. Not sure what they use but the car even smelt new inside.

I've even had my Z4 done last winter when it was too cold to do it myself.

No need to leave the keys with them. Either leave it unlocked or locked if you jsut want the exterior done.

Go for it! Although the only problem is at this time of year it will be minging after 2 miles.

I was in there this morning and was well hacked off with those guys as they are everywhere! There are spaces blocked by their flipping cones and i almost moved them until i saw another space. There seem to be plenty spaces in the "valet spaces" but then the guys are cleaning cars in normal spaces and squeezing between the cars etc. I'm not keen on that like rolleyes

eekeek Have you seen how those dudes wash cars? Buckets of water. Dip sponge, wipe paintwork, dip sponge, wipe paintwork......... shout . No hoses there. If you just want a clean car go ahead, but if your paintwork is important to you, forget it.

Personally I'd rather use a carwash ( most are pretty good with bodywork nowadays) and get the advantage of having the underside washed at this time of year.

I have used them once, did a decent job at a decent price, I was happy with the result.

I used them once at the Trinity Centre and to be honest, I felt it was a half hearted attempt for what they cost. Lots of Tobleron triangles from the bits they mist. No one asked for a full detailed valet, but they seemed to fail at a basic bucket and sponge effort.
