Train or Car into Edinburgh

Currently visiting from the south so looking for some advice, I am going to a party tomorrow night near Princes Street, Edinburgh and wondering the best way to get there – whatever I do I am going to have to drive at some point as I’m staying out about 5 miles out of Linlithgow.

Is it the train from Linlithgow Station or drive the car in, if so what's a good car park

prob go for the train, its pretty cheap and they are frequent. it just depends what time your coming home tho as i am not sure when the last train is

Definitely train it. You'll want Edinburgh Waverley though, not Haymarket.

Thanks, it looks like I'm taking the train, just need to remember the last one leaves at 11.00

The last train is 11.30. Think it is the dunblane one but it stops at linlithgow.
