Have you tried calling a transporter firm and getting a price for getting it taken up? The likes of ALP Transport based in Turriff? They pick up all of my cousins motors down in England.

Cheers Stang but I want a proper look at the car before I finalise the deal. Saying that I will probably buy it anyway so I might give them a call.

Why not just fly down? Normally my 'commute' is to London/Reading so not too many cheap air deals, but next week it's Manchester and I was surprised that the flight down (FlyMayBe) was just £22.

Flying will be the cheapest option, i used to get flights to coventry through bmibaby to pick my tvr up from services for £40.
