You should live in ABZ city Eric. I think they must be doing every single little road here first. I even saw one up one of the tiny lanes off Forest Avenue this morning.

I thought i was seeing things with the low drag e-type this morning
I claim a previous gritter spot.
21st October after work on N Deeside Rd. I was waiting to turn right off the North Deeside Road down the last mile or so to our house, when a big yellow thing with flashing lights gave me a nice pebbledash finish to the Elan. It wasn't that cold either, so I thought somebody in Aberdeen council must have promised the gritter drivers some overtime.
I inspected the damage when I got into the garage and the ruddy thing has lifted lumps of the lacquer from the paint. Bring back the old system of a lorry with two guys on the back with shovels.
Why do these things have to eject the salt and grit with such force? Can't they just dribble the stuff onto the road? It's not exactly a 3-lane motorway they have to cover.
Anyway, I've decided it's in the garage until the salt goes which didn't make my son happy, 'cos I'm now using the winter car, which means it's not at his disposal to use whenever he fancies. It also meant I didn't go to the new Club Lotus Aberdeen meeting last weekend.
Bring back global warming.
