Has anyone ever had this done? Are there any recomendations on who to use? And finally how much can i expect it to cost...

The wheels in question are 18" Audi TT multi spoke wheels.

cracked, get a new one imo!

Finesse coatings on cotton street have been good for refurbs in the past!

IMHO cosmetic refurbs are fine but I personally wouldn't drive a performance car with a repaired alloy wheel.

I do miss the way it drives, the predictable handling and noise but it was my friend who bought it so i get to experience it now and again smile

Overall the noble is a superior machine but it lacks a bit of pashion.

Depends on where the crack is I think? I had my LM's refurbished here:

http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net/ Can send the alloy via courier like I did.

Can recover seriously damaged alloys. He does a good job at a good price.
He's very helpful but maybe not the best organisational skills in the world as it did seem to take a while and a bit of prodding, but I was very happy with the end result.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies everybody.

The crack in question is on the inside of the alloy wheel on the lip and is very fine. The wheel is still holding air and the wheel is not buckled. I think i'll give the company Lee suggested to see how easy it will be. They seem to be able to work miracles - even on torn wheels!!

I'll let you how i get on and get some pictures up to show you before and after.

Cheers thumbup
