did anyone else watch this? Its presented by that long haired bloke from "Coast", its was really rather good. It was the Picts this week William Wallace next week apparently.

That was absolutely top class . This, together with Andrew Marr's narrative of Britain is, in my opinion worth paying a licence fee for.

Just watched it on I Player. Neil whats his name is a bit in yer face but otherwise excellent.
Did anyone see the othe Scotland History Series on Discovery???? told by the bloke from Taggart. No not him the tall bloke. that was well told too.

I looked for it earlier in the week and I'm sure it wasn't there. But it was last night and I watched it. Very good I thought. Their portrayal of Calgacus looked a bit like me (hairy with similar tattoos)!
