offshore rov hazards?

imagine the coms conversation...........(not my dsv btw)
Pilot "the rovs not flying very well"
Supervisor "why not, what's up?"
pilot " i dont know, there was a bump and now its flying like a burst a*se"
supervisor "recover to deck then and we will have a look"

I started my rov career on the "Aqualatrine" it was not a bad old thing but its very old now.. i would have thought it will still be ok though if its been looked after, quite small i seem to remember.
but if you can get "in" you will work on a LOT worse, usually in the Middle East, Mexico or the USA.

He did mention something about duct tape holding the seals closed....but if you can get "in" you will work on a LOT worse, usually in the Middle East, Mexico or the USA.

The shark one looks like one of our ROV's, we think a Centurian. That picture has been going round our email system like wildfire
This chappy came to say hello last time I was offshore in the Mediterranean. Nearly fell off my seat as he approached the ROV came right upto the camera. We reckon he was 3-4 metres long. Never realised there was such big sharks in the med.
They seem curious, bit like the video of the whale coming upto an ROV
I love my job sometimes!
