So, 'Ring trip 09. Who's interested?

OK boys and girls, who might be interested in a trip in the first half of next year? Was thinking around April/May time subject to 'Ring opening times. Open to suggestions about routes/dates/places to stay etc all welcome

Nothing stopping me going more than once I guess though, depending on timing and cost!

OT but some advice from those in the know.
in needing a new car dilemma mode (again) i have a list narrowed down based on my requirement, light and handling feature higher than outright speed! Needs to seat 4/5 persons if required. Otherwise its a no brainer MX5.

Cheapy choices; Audi 90 quattro (know these pretty well), GTi6.
Dearer choices; celica 190 , E46 hopefully 330ci (my original choice last year)

Any help eliminating would be great, or additions?

GTI6 good but brittle. Had one, loved it, crashed it twice.

If I were you I'd look at getting E36 328 sport. What is your budget?

I know that there's a few of us thinking about the possibilty of taking up the challenge of going across next year. We've no thoughts of when and how yet but I'll keep an eye on here in case we tie it in.
