Sadly the suspension on my 166 has crumbled to dust (rust!). I have ordered all of the parts needed to rebuild the suspension now I am just needing a garage that can fit a 166 in it and have enough space to access the sides of the car.

I've been looking hard and nearly succeeded however I'm getting desperate now as I haven't driven my Alfa in the last 3 weeks. frown

Would anybody be kind enough to rent a Garage to me for a short amount of time?

Many thanks

Stuart

How long do you think you'd need it for?

Hi Mike

That amazing Porsche of yours still running well?

I'm not to sure. The trick is I don't know how many seized bolts I will have! If I have to rush then I can probably get my friends to lend a hand.

If I work weekends only Probably about 3-4 weeks I think? But I really don't know.

Thanks I've contacted everybody suitable on Gumtree already. I'm not receiving an enthusiastic response. Either the garages are taken or they don't want people working in there garages.

I don't want to use the words "double garage" but aren't lock ups built when there was an over estimate of the number of Austin seven enthusiasts? As I don't think I could get the 166 in one and open the door let alone remove the rear seats to gain access to the rear shocks.

Cheers

Does anybody know of any other gumtree type site?

Hi, yeah it's going fine thanks smile

I've got a double garage at my place. If you're stuck, it's a possibility you could use that but I can't guarantee it I'm afraid. It would really depend on timings/duration etc as I might need to use it for storage soon'ish. I'm about 30 mins out of Glasgow, PM me this might be of any use.

Cheers.
