M5 Taxi in Aberdeen?
Discussion
Now, I've been in the real deal round the Nordschleife, driven by quite a talented taxi driver However, I am as yet to be flung sideways down Holburn street in the same car. Does such a beast exist?
Our man Crusoe seems to think so :

Can anyone shed some light or offer their own experiences of being a passenger to a perfectly executed scandi-flick whilst munching on a kebab?

I am prepared to eat a very large slice of humble pie if I'm wrong (I went through the poor guy) but I am 99% sure the car in question is a black E60 (latest shape) 520d with all the M5 body trimmings. Can anyone shed some light or offer their own experiences of being a passenger to a perfectly executed scandi-flick whilst munching on a kebab?

Never seen or heard of it, and without being a cock, I think I would have heard. As you say, a 520d with bodykit sounds much more likely. Like the guy with the Audi A4 with RS4 badges...Our man Crusoe seems to think so :

Funny this thread has come about...I was getting a taxi to Aberdeen airport a few weeks back and the driver was talking about his son or brother, i forget now, who had just bought an M5 and was using it as a taxi. I just thought he was talking rubbish and thought he must've got his wires crossed and ment a badged up diesel. Obviously not...
However I've spoken to another taxi driver about this subject and he had tried to license a Subaru STi but was refused as the car was deemed to be unsuitable for a taxi...

An impreza is completely unviable as a taxi, reliablity, cost etc, there is just no way. However I've spoken to another taxi driver about this subject and he had tried to license a Subaru STi but was refused as the car was deemed to be unsuitable for a taxi...
