Not heard a thing but it sounds great!

Your right! Talk about the mother of all tunnel runs cool

Any idea of when it is or who is organising it?

I hope there arent any minimum noinse requirements, dont know if the porker can hold its own with you tiv boys!

6 days seems like quite a nice steady pace, plenty of time for partying and driving!

OK, so for £5k, I get ...

  • Entry
  • A bottle of Champagne
  • 6 Nights 5 star B&B
  • A Eurotunnel ticket
  • Some merchandise
  • The chance to win a cash prize - judged by the organisers
... but I pay for ...

  • Fuel
  • Food
  • Inevitable speeding fines
  • The entire return journey
... let's think ...

scratchchin

... nup, I think I'll just go away with a few friends as usual thanks.

Cheers,

Eric smile

What tunnels? confused

Sorry if I'm being negative toward something which is genuine but it's just not my bag. I'm also wary having seen some other similar enterprises - albiet on a greater scale.

If this does appeal to anyone, please read the T's & C's before you send off your cheque.

Thanks eric, didn't realise price !!! They failed to forward that !!!
£5k, wow, could buy lots of spare bits for the tiv with that !!! LOL
Appreciate possibly no tunnels, just a loose term !!!
Was more interested in who else has heard about it, and where they got my details, although truth betold, was interested until i found out the price.
Can justify cerberas annual running costs to the other half, but that would be taking the P*ss !!!
Cheers

I just googled for it.

The price came from here.

Some of the other details from here.

Have a look at Justin's excellent post blogging his ring trip. There's interest in organising a 2009 run ... with real people. Gets my vote any day.

Again, sorry if I've pissed on anyone's parade.

Cheers,

Hey Derek

If it is that expensive we will just have to organise our own tunnel run again next year with some extra miles in there.driving

Also see your profile pic has changed. ME little tuscan is in the back groundwavey

Somewhere in England also holds a Britball Run. Costs £750 to enter.

A run next year to the ring is a great idea. I know D_T_W and ASBO were over this year and I think they would definately head back.

But then again, I think any run with like minded gear heads is a good idea. smile

The pic rings a bell. Am still offshore at the moment but get back on Tuesday. Am just waiting in Dulfords to get back to me with a price and then hopefully will be picked up on the first week in Nov then should get it back mid december with all the S spec and decats. nuts

Will have to run the engine in but am sure we can persuade my dad to get the cobra through too.
