Just two more sleeps until Saturdays Oban run!

Rather than clutter up the other threads, which seem to be where everyone's getting organised, I thought I'd start a new thread for general Oban run banter.

It's getting close, and apparently the weather is to be good.

Who's excited, and who's filming or taking pictures? I'll have my handy-cam, and be looking to get as much good footage as I can. I've actually got some shots in mind, so I'll probably be the one politely asking if I can film the rear of your cars as we rev `em. I've got an idea in mind, like a video montage of all the cars loudly revving in some (secluded) layby or carpark.

Anyone else got any ideas or plans? I'll be washing my baby tomorrow (Fri), charging the camera, and generally getting organised in an excitable, childish way. Woohoo!

Looking forward to it.

Car is going in to the garage tomorrow for some work. They need to replace an ABS sensor.

I'll be taking my camera to catch a few photos.

Aberdeen is supposed to be nice, Oban is down for light showers now. Hopefully the sun will stay over Scotland all day!

I'll be wandering around with a camera and probably doing a wee bit of videoing but not as much as I thought I'd be. Really looking forward to it.

Also Avril will be pleased to know my hair is long for her, :P

i need a haircut, but thats nothing to do with this, apart from i'll either have my helmet on, or a beenie.

I'll have my camera with me, so i'll get some shots.

so i'll be the one with a camera, beenie and bike!

Going to get a new tyre/ puncture repair tomorrow and will be using a satnav to tell me what speed i'm doing. Plenty more work needed to get back to original condition but I never really had time over the last couple of months.

Looking forward to Saturday!!

Also excited as hell ! Just fitted my new pair of shockers to the cerb after last weekends wee disaster and cant wait to test her out on some of the best roads in scotland. Will either be fleeing round the corners or lying under it fidling with my new toys !Cant wait to hear that fantastic sound of some v8s hauling it through the tunnel, what memories are made of. Everytime i watch the last tunnel run on You Tube cant get the grin off my face, hope someone can get some similiar footage. Just going to look out some great driving cds , some ac/dc perhaps !!!!
Anyway see you all sat 9.

Ipod is stacked and ready to rock. Expect a Led Zepp or Kings of Leon soundtrack to any footage i manage.

Worked my bollards off to get the car through the MOT for this one. By some miracle I'm not offshore, car is working, and the weather is forecast half decent. I'm excited!

Get it back from the exhaust place tomorrow night, and just the bullet cam to fit again to the front splitter.

The roof is coming off no matter what the weather is going to be like smile
