Police have a new toy - Black Impreza STi

Heading up the M77 this morning and i spotted the police had pulled someone over in there new black Saburu Impreza Sti(the little hatchback one).

So thats a black Skoda Octavia RS and a Silver BMW 330D that everyone should keep there eyes open for along the M8(West) and M77/A77.

I was told about this via a text message today; an unmarked black Subaru pulling someone over on the M8.

So, I assume that's what the original post means...

Theres also a dark blue BMW 530d I got the reggie the other day but its in my car at the mo - Patrols the M8 all the time between Ibrox and Port Glasgow. Also spotted the Silver VRS a few times in full flight down the M8.

There was some rather interesting tactics employed on the M8 yesterday.

The unmarked black STi was sitting on hard shoulder with the marked 5 series behind it.
The 5 series had its blues on and I suspect they wanted drivers to think that the STi had been pulled. Was two more trafpol officers sitting in the STi though.

Whole M8 was thick with Police yesterday.

I seen this SG07LAA plate!! had unmared all over it! but was on a silver merc CLK last night. I was up at fountain bridge ( edinburgh ) followd me ( or came behinde me ) down to slateford road then finished with blink of an eye

I'm sure I saw an unmarked RAV4 joining the M8 at the airport. Hard to make out, as it was dark and had dazzling roof-mounted strobes as it whizzed past, but I'm certain it was a RAV4 with none of the usual livery other than roof strobes. Was I hallucinating? Never heard of those being used in that role, but keep your eyes peeled just in case.

That will be a fire chiefs car (especially if the lights were mounted on a roof bar). Unmarked car will have covert lights or light bar if it is fully marked up.

Police evo-x has been touring UK police stations. Was thru glasgow for a while, up north, up edinburgh until 2nd december. Not sure whare next tho!
