If you can find out which track as it makes a huge difference. The indoor track can pretty much be taken at almost fullish throttle all the way round apart from the first bend and the two bends after the bridge. The outdoor track is brilliant and the Karts are the pro ones that do 70mph. Unfortunately I think it's gonna be pretty wet up here this weekend so I would pray that you're indoors.

Are you taking part in this VXR thing? Heard there are 300 people entered, theres only 8 allowed on track at any one time it will be a long day!
I was on the outdoor track on wednesday, superb track but the karts could do with a bit more power and a bit of tlc they are getting a bit tatty.
The indoor track is pretty tight, late braking is the key!

It'll be pissing it down tomorrow like it is now!
The bottom corner was flat in my kart, full race pro-kart 2-5 secs a lap quicker than the hire karts, a few years ago, Good God, maybe 10 years ago now! I mean the corner at the bottom of the straight, I have seen hire karts go over the bank when an inexperienced karter tried to do it flat.
If you're heavy, like I am/was, it'll give you a massive advantage in the pissing rain. I beat some lightys that day I raced there! The current DTM driver Susie Stoddart was in that race too, she hammered me! Lol!

That's nothing! I was once inveigled into a Tuesday afternoon sesh in a boozer in Auchtermuchty. I went for a much needed slash and casually nodded to the old fella using the pisser next to me.

Later I learned this was none other than the late Sir Jimmy Shand's god son.

It took me weeks to get over the thrill. Every time I hear the haunting melody of Bluebell Polka I remember that Odgen.

Cheers,

I actually do know her folks.
Used to work in a place that was owned by them.
Lovely people.
Only saw her once in that whole time and unfortunately was too busy to ask for a lift in her company car (very nice Merc of some AMG description).

Anyway, carry on as normal.

How did you get on sideways dan ?

I was in the morning session and qualified 6th for the GP at 12:45. Ended up 4th in it. Was very difficult to overtake on the tight indoor track.

A little disappointed as I hoped I could get through to the boot camp. Fair play to the guy that won though hope he does well!
