Good afernoon all,

I am looking to book somewhere to have a quiet New Year 2008/2009 celebration in the comfort of our own lodge. A hot tub would be a bonus. smile

Any ideas's?

Cheers

We took that very lodge for a week last October. smile

It was great apart from a wasp bike in the eves / attic which lead tto the wee buggers appearing in the upstairs bedroom all the time.

It's not walkable to any eating / drinking establishments though; if that's important.

Cheers,

Try these guys, stayed in January this year and it was superb, very quiet though and the hotel that the grounds were in was closed so no pub, but if you have your own booze, then its a fantastic retreat imo. Views were amazing, and they are pet friendly so dogs are allowed.

Seems they have availability too for that time of year.

Mains of taymouth cottages are very nice and some have hot tubs. We stayed in the 'mains court', the biggest one they have and it was the best place i have ever stayed. highly recommended.

Best advice would be get something booked as soon as you can, you may already be too late.

My daughter and pals used to go away at New year and used to book in January to make sure they got what they wanted, the one year they didn't they were disappointed.

We've booked ours for 2009/2010 in Feb this year.

I think you may struggle to find what you want at this time of year.
