I like the idea, but feel very excluded, as I don't have an impreza, so probably will be looked down upon if I went.RIP Colin and Johnny

Anyone is welcome to turn up at Lanark.
To go on the Convoy to the prodrive headquaters you need to display a Mcrae gathering sticker on the front of your car and be registered with the above site.

PLEASE DO NOT SELL STICKERS ON EBAY. We have no control over who buys them there, i.e. could be a driver of any marque who will then turn up expecting admittance
So why do you think Subaru owners have a priority over celebrating one of our countries finest sporting hero's charity event or not?
Edited now the red mist has lifted.

Hello,
As one of the organisers of this event, I would like to respond to the totally false allegation of "elitist pish". This is a totally uneducated statement from someone who has clearly put fingers to keyboard before engaging brain.
We're not "elitist" at all and would have absolutely loved to open this event up to all marques so that everyone who was a Colin McRae fan could be part of it and show their respects, but it simply wasn't possible. Think about it for just one second. Even with just Subarus we have 1300 cars registered. If we opened it to all we could be talking a hundred times that number - that's how popular Colin was. The logistics of that would be impossible and the police wouldn't even have entertained the idea.
The organisers of this event are three ordinary people with full-time jobs to hold down over and above organising this who just happen to be Subaru drivers and enthusiasts. Colin McRae played a large part in why we, and many other Subaru drivers are behind the wheel of the marque today. We've had to jump through thousands of hoops to make this happen and we've said since day one - If other marques want to organise their own tributes then they're free to do so, but this one is Subaru only. That isn't "elitist" in the slightest. It's Subaru drivers and Colin fans actually getting off their backsides and doing something.
If Mojocvh wants to organise something then you'll find the McRae family particularly receptive to ideas on how to raise money, but until you're prepared to put your own cock on the block as we have done, you have no right to criticise us...
