Not proper petrol head stuff - antique type advice

Gained some early last century tortoiseshell trinkets, and looking for somewhere to get a reasonable valuation on them and possibly buy them from me. I have absolutely no idea where to go - ideally Aberdeen area but could make Edinburgh - for someone who won't rip me off which is what I'm scared of if I stick a pin in Yellow Pages! Any ideas anyone? A long shot I know.
