Just glanced up while changing lenses this afternoon and saw this Porsche trying to take the Seat curves without braking, He must have hit the foam barrier at well over 100mph which luckily propelled him backwards into the gravel and not forwards towards a packed embankment. Dan the photographer in the first shot was uninjured as was the driver!

Best action photos I've seen this year, suberb capture. Not easy to keep focused when all hell is letting loose! Congrats!

Is that the crash that the footage on TV only caught a tiny bit of? Brilliant photos. (Amazing how effective all the safety precautions are!)

Wow - fantastic shots!

According to the commenatary during the 2nd race he missed the brake pedal which caused the crash.

Apparently the team tried to rebuild the car for the 2nd race but the shell was twisted - I'm not surprised!

From the telly the racing looked fantastic.

Well done again for the photo's

You will be pleased to know he is in one piece, just! Spoke to him last night, shows his determination wanting to do the second race.

Col

Any chance of a higher resolution version of the last shot for my desktop in the office, very happy for watermarks etc to remain. I share the same surname as the driver!

Great shots by the way, glad you caught the action.
