Beechgrove Gardens
Discussion
Here's a programme I haven't seen in many years. But, I wanted to watch the following programme, "Lost Land of the Jaguar" Yes, I know it's not about XK's.
Although not a gardener, I can usually enjoy a gardening programme, providing the presenters are enthusiastic enough and convey their passion to the viewer.
I started out being fairly impressed with the advice on growing tomatoes! Yes, why not.
Strangely enough, I was beginning to have a quite warm feeling to the way that the subject was presented. THEN:
Cut to someones rural "Twee" garden, with a wee stream, about 18" wide, 6" deep. Presenters ask resident Muppet what he wishes to create.
Muppet answer : SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT.
Well, fk me. Didn't see an Oil Rig or a Motorway junction on his land.
Obviously one of our famous white settlers teaaching us cheuchters how to live our lives.

Will soon be complemented by another fine piece of machinery on the drive, you'll recognise it. Bavarian, nudge nudge, say no more.

Well I keep hearing his name being mentioned to replace me. Be sure to give him the full windup treatment. Half dozen jobs a trip is average here, no time for safety naps!! Tell him I pinched that other slot he was after as well ;-)Hahahaha Sean heading to my old rig? Oh my god! They might actually make him work He has a new back to back on the PBLJ at the moment.
