Wheel Refurbishment in Edinburgh Area

Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good wheel refurbishment outfit in the Edinburgh area for the teledials on my 147 GTA. They are starting to corrode slightly and have some scuffs on them.

It would be ideal if the place could also do a package deal on the refurbishment and some new tyres, as it will be due some in a few months. Even more ideal if they sell Michelin PS2s which are my tyres of choice.

I don't ask for much ; )

there is a company in the industrial estate in straighton who will blast, smooth and powdercoat wheels, cant unfortunatly remember there name.

you could always try mrm coach works at roseburn they done a really good job on my rs 0z alloys few months back and sure they can get your tyres as national tyres & autocare are next door.

Yep - speak to Margaret at Auto Image.

I paid £45 a wheel to get my S3 rims refurbed in anthracite last year - includes tyre removal/refit and balancing.

Had my Shogun wheels done there a few years ago too.

They are Yokohama and Falken agents but can supply any tyres IIRC.

When I took my Lotus Elan to AutoImage several years ago they said they had nowhere safe to store my soft top while the wheels were being refurbed in Glasgow. They suggested I took one off at a time at home and bring them down over a period of 4 weeks !!! Very practical Needless to say they didn't get my business
