Hey everyone,

i post every now and then, but i'm always watching and reading.

as you can guess by the title of this and my name i'm a photographer.

well i'm studying photography just now so i don't have 20 years experience, but i'm a great photographer.

I know a lot of you have amazingly nice cars, and i thought i should offer my services, i may get shot down but whats the worst from asking.

My prices are extremely reasonable, i'v seen people who have weaker photos than me, charge £200 for the shoot, without any photos included.

I have editing this as i advised to edit it, before i got in trouble.

so how about the first 3 people who have a fancy car, post in here (and as long as the same car isn't already posted) get a free (travel needs to be covered) shoot!
you will then get all the edited pics at screen resolution, with option to buy the full size.

All that i ask is if you are happy with the photos, you make a post recommending me (as that can't really be called me advertising.)

you can see my pictures at
http://arphotographs.deviantart.com/gallery/

Some of you may see this as spam, but i'm not meaning it to look like that.
just we all need to start somewhere.

hope to hear from some of you.

Adam

When I looked at the site, I was confronted with a banner ad for this site. hehe

I don't think they're really intended for dogs.wink

Cheers,

Eric smile

sorry, i thought it was only wrong to advertise if you were on your first few posts.

well i shall edit it, but i have an idea.

is it advertising if someone on here recommends you??

Then maybe I'll recommend somewone else who is a good photographer, but who is playing by the rules and won't advertise on here.

I'm sure there are a few others who know good photographers.

Where does it stop? No advertising means no advertising, if you don't mind.

wow, ok i'm sorry then.

its just hard for a 19 year old half way through studying photography at college to try and get himself up and running when people stop him networking.

it must be lovely to have lots of contacts, but thats not my case yet cause of my age.

well the offer still stands for others, yet they don't need to recommend me.

The photographer I have in mind is only slightly older than you. He's just starting out and also trying to build contacts. He plays by the rules though.

I'm not making any attmpt at stopping you, you carry on, I'm only concerned that once you let one do it, everybody has a right, and this forum will be filled with the kind of spammy rubbish you get elsewhere.

Don't see anything wrong with what you've posted Adam - if the mods feel it's inappropriate then I'm sure they'll be along shortly.

Nowt wrong with trying to network, your approach was not the best however it might be better to get down to a few trackdays and get some shots of folks on the track and post them up first. That way people can see the quality of your work. Go to car events/runs. If you look at this section you will see there are plenty of posters who do photography and fire up photo's just for others to see.

Good Luck.

Vxjon, if you'd like to send me an email and we can organise a shoot once your car is back.

The Gza, will sort out a date with you aswell!

so one more freebie left.

Stang, i understand what you mean, but currently i am not working on my trackday photography more the static portraits of the cars, same as what is seen in magazines.

i posted a link to my photographs so people can see the quality of my work, but incase people don't want to follow an offsite link, here are a few!
