Hi there. Has anyone any experience of, or done any kind of advanced driving course in Scotland. Just looking for some info and recommendations as quite keen to do one. Feel a competent enough driver but would be good to see what kinds of courses are on offer to help use my car a little more if you know what I meanwink

KH do a couple of course you could try. I did the one hour with an instructor session and it was fun, but i think i learnt more about the correct lines around KH that i did about the car.

Personally in the 3.5 years i've had my car (VX220) i feel I've learnt the most from 4 sessions at Kames sprint track in ayrshire. You share the day with 20 or so other cars and you get 3 laps at a time.

It's just you, the car and the track so there is no pressure to go faster than you want and there is usually no lack of people to help you out by jumping in the pax seat.

Failing that you will probably have to head down south and try one of the courses there - www.carlimits.com is a fav of the Lotus boys up here.
