TrackScotland Pics from tonight
Discussion
The red porsche decided to try and shower myself and another ( better ) photgrapher with as much of Knockhills finest kitty litter before ending up the other side of the track , big ooooooohhhhh moment.
Had to clear the track after it, think they suspected that it slid on oil or something as they put some cement on the track and put ya all out under waved yellows for a bit

The tvrolet put in over 40 laps with no real problems except for the heat build-up off the exhaust...which I was prepared for
The most it's ever managed before was 6 laps before something broke, fell off, overheated or generally broke down Seemed to be running as well as I could have hoped tonight though. All in all a very good session, and the reds luckily seemed to coincide with the times I was in the pits anyway.

I'll post in this thread, as it seems to be the most popular.
Wow...great night. Best trackday in ages. The extended red flag at the end of the first hour was a bit annoying at the time, but given that I boiled the brake fluid towards the end of the whole session, a bit of enforced cool down probably wasn't such a bad idea!
This was my fourth outing at KH since I got the Cerb, but my first dry one. After three events skating around like bambi on ice (very stiff dry weather set-up, and seized adjusters on the dampers) it was brilliant to feel the car doing exactly what it should be doing.
There was also a really nice mix of cars in terms of pace. Perhaps I was quite lucky in the laps I took (about 40 all together), but all the slower stuff seemed evenly dispersed and didn't hold me up, and the really quick stuff didn't trouble me too much either - was nice to try and hang onto the coat-tails of the black Porsche and the Ultima for a couple of laps!
Probably something to do with the weather, but everyone seemed in a very happy sociable mood too, which was the icing on the cake.
So all in all, a big thank you Adam for an event well run, and a big wave to the chaps in the Tuscan, Ultima, 200SX and GT4 who all seemed like jolly nice, non-axe-murdering types.

Great night, although very busy and frustrating for the first hour! Red flags galore
Thought about heading at 7pm!
Glad I didnt - got a couple of cracking sessions in the second hour and really enjoyed it!

Started to get worried the game would be a boggy at around 7 when the red flags where out what seemed like every lap! But the last 45mins was excellent, probably one of the best track sessions I've had at Knockhill, good weather, some decent machinery, made a good night. The fact I was able to drive onto the trailer at the end with a fully intact car just topped it off.
My only complaint is that I never saw a single car getting flagged for not letting people past but seemed to spend a lot of the early part of the night stuck behind slower going cars.
Any more pics much appreciated (especially ones of the Yellow Westy)

Were they using Blue Flags last night Tonto? My only complaint is that I never saw a single car getting flagged for not letting people past but seemed to spend a lot of the early part of the night stuck behind slower going cars.

It was always expected as there was a varied selection of cars up there, was a good night, I enjoyed myself, only frustration was the Red wait for about 25 minutes. I know there is a few slower cars out there which is fine by me and totally except being held up at times, but I did notice a couple of cars that were mmmmmm...let's say the scrapy would have knocked back! Maybe this would be good to get down to the 30 car level.
Saw no blue flags last night, but main problem was the red flags, track didn't stay open long enough for the queues to clear. I was beginning to despair by 7pm. No sooner than they cleared the track, someone else would breakdown/go off. No excuse for spinning off on first couple of laps out although breakdowns can happen I suppose.
As mentioned, last 45 mins or so were good, queues not too bad and everyone stayed more or less on the black bits.
