Hi guys, going to look at the above on Friday, car is modified and has a 964 body, roll cage and bucket seats.

Anyone know how these cars drive, things to look out for etc?

Thanks

Rusts your biggest worry. Very tough mechanicals, the 3.0 is one of the strongest flat 6 engines. What year is it? later (Post '81) versions had 204bhp I think, early about 180. I'd prefer an original rather than one with a 964 kit. 10k should get you a half decent one.

I've had an old Porker and it was not the best, check my profile picture. Mine was an 87 3.2 with 993 body update. Had the older 915 gearbox too. The car just felt miles too old to drive, no PAS, cable clutch and crap brakes. Was so happy when i sold it on ebay then bought the TVR instead.
