MP beaten unconscious near home

I was all sympathetic till I read the story. She fell down and thinks she bumped her head.
"I went down and I knocked my head on a boulder or a stone of some sort and I was knocked out."
She was out jogging but was wearing " my gold chain and my good watch and my diamond stud earrings and I had a diamond ring on that they took," said Ms Moffat.
Sounds like a good insurance scam to me. A bit different to the headline of "Beaten Unconscious"
I think the types she alledgedly came across are scum, but come on! She sounds no better in this story.

So she was out jogging with her good watch, diamond earings, diamond ring and bracelets... which they took (or tried to in the case of the bracelets)... But didnt take her phone which was in her hand?
So these yoofs took rings off her fingers (which I imagine are fairly well stuck on) and tried to take off her bracelts and removed earings yet they left the phone which was in her hand?
The phone which would have been easily taken from her hand if she was unconcious (much easier than the rest of the stuff), or even fell out of her hand??
Not convinced... where's columbo?
Did she also not have that fancy necklace on?
