Hi Guys,

After a little argument with a tree ( it won! ) I am in need of a good bodyshop with experience of TVRs or at least fibre glass, preferably in the Brechin, Angus area?

Anyone know a good place to go?

Thanks

I've seen a few TVR's being repaired at PPS Glassfibre in Inverurie.

Ouch frown Not having much luck with that car, still have pictures of your little (expensive) off into the Armco last year at Alford. Happens to the best of us, I had a sideways off into the kitty litter at the SIDC track day last Saturday at Knockhill - luckily no bodywork damage

I know, thats something along the lines of what my wife said when I got home!

Damage not too bad, anyone know of any aftermarket traction control kits! :-)

Too many small, gravelly back roads where I live!

Hi guys,

I have to vent some frustration here, so sorry in advance!

i have been trying to sort out repairs to the Griff for a few weeks now, and although you guys have been really helpful (especially Ali at 360) in advice I was told by my insurance company to contact the local TVR dealer, Dreadnought in this case... Now I have never dealt with them before but have heard lots of praise and lots of shame about them, so I was nervous of what kind of response I would get, rightly so!!!

I wanted to get the car repaired and also have a full sevice done, a general health check as well as install lots of new goodies in the engine bay and supply and install a new radiator, and was told by Brian that they can not give me a date of when they could do the work, would not even discuss booking dates or options, and told me to phone back in at least 3-4 weeks to try again as they were too busy! I was also given a number of a body shop who apparently does all there work, however after trying it 10 times I have never had anybody even answer the phone!

Now I did not push to get this done asap as it is a third car for me and time is not an issue, but they would not even phone me back, or take my number to phone when they had some space for the work in the future.

Really poor customer service.

Yep - I know they have a reputation for doing good work, but it almost seems that they are taking advantage of the fact that they are the only TVR specialist in Scotland, and are picking and choosing work because they know that. That is a poor show.
Wish there was some serious competition up here - no wonder so many go south of the border...
