Some pictures from the Hillclimb on sat. If you were there and want pics of your car PM me and I can email them or post them on here. Good chatting and getting to meet people, and cars were fantastic too!

Couldn't make it up today. Last minute crisis (read as had bad flu)

I just want to know if the track record was broken or not as GW was only .4 secs off it on saturday.

I've always wanted to know what the vertical bar on the front of these cars is for. Can anyone help me out?

Black vertical bar is a "timing strut" which breaks the timing beam at the start and finish more accurately than a car's bodywork would.

No GW Jnr's car broke some bits on the last timed run yeaterday so didn't make it today. Sadly the track never really dried out properly today so no more new records

However a great weekend's motorsport and thanks to all at GAC who made it happen

Cheers

What a cracking couple of days motorsport. Took my wee 8 yo quine down for the practice on Sat morning, and again on Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyable. She is still slightly traumatised by Mutchies moustache, but otherwise wants to buy a "purple one".
