I have to knock down my old garage (ok its a nissan hut with an air tight tent erected inside it) because Im building a new house / garage on the site. I could rent a garage somewhere to store my car, but I really want to keep it on site so that I can give it a good thrashing as the mood takes me. I also need to be able to get rid of it when Im finished with it. I thought about a storage container but not sure if I could get the door open to get out, assuming I can get it in in the first place. Any ideas?

if its just for storage and your car fits.. buy a container thats has either no certification (for marine use) like rocking horse poo but try the container hire places ie containental and the likes, where in scotland are you? and i can ask around... 20fters suually got for £700 and 40ft's for about a grand. note this is a bloody excellent tool shed for hire stuff, fear of kit getting nicked if your building new. try and find a 40fter, put car in the back, partition it off and have the front as an indoor tool store/ workshop.. sorted!

only arse with a container is getting it to your place, not cheap.
