Hi Norman
I would try Ricky Gauld at Huntly, he did the mapping on my 1600 k series, or the garage (don't remember the name right now) at St Cyrus, they used to prepare a racing Caterham until a couple of years back.

According to my dad, who is waiting for him to fit a new engine to his tiger, he is working for someone else just now and isn't doing work for himself.I would try Ricky Gauld at Huntly, he did the mapping on my 1600 k series, or the garage (don't remember the name right now) at St Cyrus, they used to prepare a racing Caterham until a couple of years back.

Seemeed strange to me, anyone confirm or deny this?
Ricky is a good friend of mine, and has been looking after my Elises for ten years.
However called in to see him when were were out for a run, to learn that he is starting a job with Coach House Aberdeen 4x4 at Wellheads in Dyce. He will be running their new purpose built Service premises for their own vehicles, but will also be able to service and work on other selected cars, ie Lotus's as well.
He is hoping to get them to install a 4x4 rolling road, and has a vast amount of experience in upgrading and tuning almost any car, including Elises since he met me. He was working on an original Ford RS 200 Group B Rally Car when we called in, one of the all time greats.
He will still be living at his house and garage at Bridge of Marnoch, but no longer doing commercial work.

Wilson's at St Cyrus is run by Alan Keith, who has a long and successful pedigree in motor sport. He was the Fiesta Challenge champ for a few years, and there's not much he doesn't know about engines. He currently seems to be looking after some pretty exotic race machinery - Porsche? - and there's an Apex Tubing transporter outisde the garage. If he has time, I'm sure he'd be able to sort you out.
