Wonder who/what this was in Aberdeen today???

Was up in Aberdeen this morning and was coming down Anderson Drive when Police bikes appeared from all over and blocked off the junction. After a few seconds these 2 cars came through with 4 more police outriggers!! Didnt get a very good view inside but there was only one guy in the BMW, anybody important up there today??
Oh, and the worst thing was after they left the lights were stuck at red!! they might still be red yet, the vx220 took off like the clappers after waiting for a while...anybody on here?

Saw them round Kingswells on Tuesday so probably training as the cars only had drivers and no passengers.

I saw this exact same thing happen on Anderson Drive about a month ago, save ot was in the opposite direction.

I saw the same thing on Anderson Drive about a week ago at the roundabout at Queeen's Road - BMW and Audi drove by. Did have pics but camera had zoomed in too much and messed up.

That looks like the VX220 that lives up near me. Never ever seen it moving on the road though even though i've been in the same area for 4 years now!!

I saw the exact same cars surrounded by police bikes going into the kingswells park and ride about a month ago

Apparently the police biker who broke his back on Anderson drive the other day was part of a convoy of bikers taking part in an training exercise. Maybe this was just one of those?
