Nice selection of pics Col. The Aston was flaming on Friday as well. We should run a competion to see who can get the best pic of the Aston's flames. Nice to see the tribute to David Leslie.

Nice pics. Not a bad day all in all.

My mind is constantly drawn to the marshalling at Knockhill-

At worst - dangerous, at best - bloody amateurish - no one seems to actually 'marshall' the gangs.

They managed to be towing a car out of the gravel and gave the go ahead to a Lambo to pass - it mangaed to get caught in the tow rope when the recovery vehicle started to move - farcical.

And as for the bloke driving the Pistonheads car - went to have a blether and say hello - he couldn't care less and wasn't exactly the friendliest chap about. c**k

Saw the farce with the cars driving over the tow strap, if the lambo had'nt stopped there would have been carnage as the strap was caught in his front splitter. He would of at best pulled his front end off and at worst dragged the tow car and race car down the track and seriously wrecked his own car!

Well if the stupid driver of the car being towed had done as he was told and stopped at the edge of the circuit instead of putting his foot down when his tyres touched the tarmac there would not have been a problem.
