Might be tempeted to tag along with the Sagagris' in my Chimaera. What time is everyone leaving ABZ?
Paul, plan is to meet at Shell Garage at Bridge of Don (LHS as you go into ABZ) @ 07.15hrs. Hope weather is OK but plan is to go anyway. Should at least get a few good pics. Neil

I hope to be there taking some pics as well

FPC - your pictures are superb, just bought a new Canon D40 with 70-200mm lens so if I bottle taking the Sagaris round the track I'll bug you for some hot tips on taking motorsport pictures! How will I recognise you, will you wear a red carnation Cheers.
Cheers, Neil

Have to agree with Asbo. I went to my first track day when they had them at night. More Lambo's/Porsche's, drove as they wanted but with a lot more respect for others out there. The last one we went to was all Evo's with point's to prove. I enjoyed going down but I would not have taken the Stang round with that lot. I would have ended up smacking the helmet off someones head. puckrup said:

Haha
I'll have a black fleece, black gloves, and a black rucksak on. I use Canon kit.
I'll probably be taking pictures of the Sagaris's
Cheers.
_A note for the people travelling to Knockill on the M90, then using the Kelty Junction._
I've read on another forum there might be a section of the B914 (runs west from the Kelty junction) may be closed this weekend.
I believe its from the Y-junction (with the white building in the middle) that you normally turn right at, to the X-junction that you take the final right turn to get onto the road to Knockhill.
Hope this multimap link works
Looks like the easiest alternative route would be to take the left (B915) at that Y-junction, then right onto the A823 through Dunduff back to the normal X-junction. I'm not overly familiar with the roads round there though...
I've not seen anything official about the road closure, but thought i might post a heads-up just in case
Cheers.

Neil, regarding taking pictures at Knockhill, just you be wary going to and from Knockhill tomorrow, remember the last people who took a picture of your Sagaris, North bound on the ellon road, some of their colleagues are bound to be around on Saturday knowing that the HM event is on.
Wish I was going with you, Bob and Richard but just getting my Chimaera wheels back from PPS tonight and tyres will be put on tomorrow. Enjoy the day but preserve your Sagari for Zolder.
Regards
Baz

Is Hot Marques now really that bad ?
I'm booked into the April one and am now having second thoughts....
I've only done two trackdays before, one was a novices at Knockhill, the other was a very well run motorsport vision one at oulton park.
Bearing in mind my car cost me 50k, I'm loathe to take it if there's going to be manic drivers on the loose.
There's always the odd one on trackdays, its par for the course, but if there's a bunch of guys basically racing each other, then I'm not interested. Thats ok for them if its their second car that they're usually exlusively for racing their mates, but it doesn't help me if they cause me to damage mine !
Thoughts ?
