Stevie Walkers Bodyshop in Bathgate are good - 01506 633471. Tell him Andy with the red WRX passed his details on!

Just had my Maserati in at Edgefield Coachworks in Loanhead, close to Ikea.

They were recommended to me and they have done a superb job. Andy the owner will not let the car go until he is totally happy.

PM me and I will send you the number for Spectrum Paints in Bathgate. Superb finish and very good prices. They just did the wing on one of our Lambo's.

Willowbrae Coachworks in Peffermill.

I've had lots of work done there in the past, no issues at all.

Seems to be a problem for most people that the whole car needs sprayed! what the hell! these people call themselves bodyshops! they arent they are accident repair places, they hum and haw at anything more than a wing or two.
It appears steve walker has rulled himself out now cause it involves too much prep. Does anyone run a propper bodyshop these days.

Shame to hear that - I've been keeping an eye on this thread to see how what the recommendations are and to see you get on.

There are a couple of bits on mine that are starting to show its age, and I don't know whether a full respray would be better in the long run than just doing the bits that need it. Problem is that it's a funny sort of plastic, particularly prone to microblistering, so I don't know who to trust with it.

Speak to Stephanie at Edinburgh retro cars 01316612407, they just sent of a classic 911 for a full respray, or can sort out a budget job at the garage.

Surprised Stevie Walker ruled himself out - it's unlike him to turn away work.

Hope you get sorted out somewhere else.

I dont see why most people are ruiling themselves out, i think its possibly cause it aint that bad so shouldnt cost too much so they arent gonna make lots of profits.
But even still, i have money waiting, the car is waiting and ready, youd think someone would be after a quick bit of cash.

I'd recommend speaking to George at Dr Vinyl in Bangor Road. Have had work done there before on my 182, friend has had his range rover and a jag done there , all been very impressed.

Their number is 0131 553 6234.

yup, he did a small job for me just at the end of last year - did you mention any names when you arrived - always helps not to arrive "cold"....

Well chatted to MRM again today, seems they are a bit irate i called them unreliable.

Seems we had a missunderstanding about when they were supposed to come round to estimate.

Im not sure but hey. Rocco and the guys were friendly enough after a tense few moments.

Hopefully they will do it. probably with wr painted on the bonnet or something lol. that was a joke mrm.

Hi Mattius, glad you got it all sorted out in the end, found it a bit strange as I have been using them for years and had excellent work/service.

Keep us posted!
