I'm heading back to Scotland from Redditch at Easter to visit the family in Freuchie for 2 weeks and am thinking of taking the Griffith for an extended workout, it could do with blowing out the cobwebs!

Whilst there I'd like to have the cars 4 wheel alignment done but would like a personal recommendation for a job done well by professionals.

I'll be staying in Fife and am willing to travel. Initial suggestions made to me were CLCM in Edinburgh or Star Performance near Kirkcaldy, any good, any others?

My main concern is whether suppliers of this service have the necessary knowledge of TVR geometry settings

I'll be looking to attend the Central Scotland regional meet while there, so any advice from TVR owners north of the border would be most appreciated!

CLCM seem to be the choice mate.

I will be taking my Octavia there in the very near future.

Slight word of warning, he is very old school - doesn't even have an answerphone and I have been let down by him once when he never turned up - although I believe there were extenuating circumstances but still a PITA!

The fact that I am willing to try again speaks volumes in my opinion.

Also could try the following:
Falkland Performance Centre (they do a look of scoobys, evos and lotus plus various others). Web site is http://www.falkland.co.uk/ I used them for the geometry in the Elise and they were very good.

I have used CLCM before when the toe links were replaced on the Elise and the settings that were put on made it oversteer at the slighest provacation ( he must have had a bad day as he does have a good rep on Scottish Elises).

An Evo specialist that I use is Extreme Motorsport outside Bathgate is Extreme Motorsport (http://www.extreme-motorsport.co.uk/). I suspect that they would not have TVR knowledge but they do have alignment equipment which I am sure will be more than adequate for the TVR.

Cheers

Thanks for the suggestions. It looks like I won't be able to aquire my new coilovers in time for my trip to Scotland, so unlikely to get the alignment done until these are fitted.
