Basically RAF in Tornado (GR4s I think) racing Zonda S C12/Koenisegg CC8S/Spyker C8 Spyder/Gumpert Apollo/Ultima GTR/Morgan Aero 8 and possibly more. There's 10 places according to the site still available.

Also some auctions for charity to get to have a go yourself or have a go on the fligh simulator. Looks awesome fun!

Oops, couldn't remember what squadron ran the GR4s and what one had the F3s. Also doesn't help they had a 3rd squadron there a few years ago, biggrin

Wasn't sure though if it was a general tornado picture, usually people don't know the difference, lol. F3s look 'lighter' is the way I would put it, lol.

I did this a couple of years ago, great fun smile Only thing I hated was a big dip in the runway, about 1/3rd of the way up, meant you couldn't hammer it from the start frown

They just resurfaced the runway and the dip was to be levelled..

That's a real shame, because it really is too bad to take on at full pelt.
I managed to get up to 175 on the 2nd practice run. The first run I had one of the pilot's Dad's with me, and tried it with the roof up.
We started getting sucked out at about 150, and he made some quip about wishing he'd brought his chute! He had one of the WW2 spitfire Jonny accents, I nearly crashed laughing smile
The video of my car was taken at the end of the runway, when I was braking.
Here's a pic taken at the "finish" line. The 999 romped itsmile

We managed to get over 300kph in the wet - and that was backing off well before the dip as the Zonda was threatening to bottom out. Wonder what the Koenigsegg and Gumpert will get if its dry and still?

Lighter is probably a good way to describe it I suppose biggrin

The most obvious difference is the GR4 has a FLIR pod mounted under the nose. They're also painted differently wink

Full page report with pictures in the Daily Record today. No mention of Rio in the whole report!! Not that many Record readers are likely Rio customers.....

It was a great day, the Gumpert Apollo was awesome, it made the Zonda feel slow, I got it up to 180 mph which is a good 10 mph more than I managed in any of the other cars.
