Restaurant for 20-30 people Aberdeen
Discussion
Evening,
Not one to leave things to the last minute...
Had wanted to book the Olive Tree private room on Queens Road for a retirement deal next Monday - it must be next Monday (03rd) at around 1900-1930.
However, an hour after i called for prices it would seem i was too slow and they'd booked it out. Balls.
So there will be 20-30 people on whom i would spend £25-30/head (excluding drinks) and would ideally like the privacy of a room, but this is by no means essential.
Was hoping for somewhere close to Queens Road for closeness to hotels and workplace.
Help me out!!!

is the Foyer good? i stay on Crown Street, pass it most days, but never thought of going in.
Think we've sorted something out with "The Square" which i thought was nice enough last time i was there.. Not able to use their private room though as it only holds 14, but they've arranged an area for us to take over.

Been to the Foyer a few times and always good, certainly worth a try. Stage Door prob better IMO. The Square looks nice n cosy. To be honest can't see past Eat on the Green now that I've moved out of the city. Comparable to some of the great restaurants in London. Craig Wilson the Chef/Owner has won loads of awards for his cullinary skills. N

Try Zen Oriental on Crown Terrace.
Food is excellent and they have an area off the main dining room about that size.
Tell Joe that Des from OSL sent you and you will be well looked after!

Will have a look in to Simpsons Hotel, some of the folk coming up will be staying there so can see what they'd do. Cuisine needs to be British(ish).

For simple good Food, try the Filling Station on Union Street, good simple food, good service, tends to be busy though.
I hope you're joking! That's next to my work and it is 'dubious' to say the least! Gassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
