Give Kevin at AW Autotech a call. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my Z4. He really knows his stuff, and reasonable priced.

Much as I hate to agree with all these men as a matter of principle, I have to agree - Dave or John at JD are the Bee(mer)s knees....

I've used them both, Kevin when he was with Autotechnic and JD recently for my Jag & MG. I highly recommend both without reservation and I'm fussy !.

wavey

I have both my M-cars serviced by Dave and John at JD (just set up a standing order with them hehe) and have never had any problems. Both are thoroughly decent blokes and I respect them hugely.

I've just got the M5 back from them and paid £500 for 18 hours labour! Try getting that at John Clarks...

Kevin at AW is also a very decent chap and I recently had him replace the ECU on the M3 (I'm still reeling from that one). I'd use AW more but I do feel loyal to JD and have built up a good relationship with them.

Avoid BAW (appropriately named I feel) like the plague.

JD can be contacted on 01464 821151. Tell them Simon sent you.

Apologies for the big threas resurrection. But wondering if any updates on this topic, are JD and AW-Autotech still the go to for BMW serving in Aberdeen(shire). Needing to find someone to service my E39.

Also any recommendations for alignment work in the area?

Cheers

I've always used Premier Motors on Hardgate for BMWs, always good work at reasonable prices. They are very busy though so you need to book in advance.

Dave at Central Garage in Glenkindie looked after my E39 M5 for the 7 years or so I had it and now my Z4m.

Always top work and highly recommended, it's usually a fun drive up and back into the bargain.
