Big fire outside Aberdeen

A warning to anyone heading south out of Aberdeen, there's a big industrial unit, I think belonging to Baker Hughes, that's on fire at Portlethen. It's right next to the road so when I came past the police had one lane closed at the traffic was backing up. I would imagine they way even close both southbound carriageways.

It was well ablaze when I went into town just after 1pm but it is all under control now, the firemen are still hosing it but all carriageways now open.

Looks like a bad one though, I hope no-one was hurt.

Yeah it was about 12.30-1pm I came past, glad to hear they've got it under control. And likewise, hopefully no injuries.

This was it as just after 2.30 today, almost out, but still see flames from the dual carriageway side,





As stated, no one hurt, but just hope no one had furniture stored in there?.
