I just wanted to say thankyou to everyone who supported us yesterday, and to everyone who took our VIP's for a spin.

Now for the sentimental stuff - listening to Jackie Stewart last week he said "success is easy when you have the right people around you" - how very true. Having had another superb season - success is easy for ADMC when people like you come along and support us every step of the way.

Thanks again

Janet

YEP ,we had a really good day ,it was a fantastic to see all the smiling faces of the young folk who'd just been out for the first time on the track. Big thanks to Janet and crew for laying on some hot food and shelter from the wind.
There was a good turn out of people/cars and everyone I spoke to seemed to have really enjoyed their "annual" ADMC Fun-day.
I was hoping Eric might have been there with his "RED" car for Graham and me to go and have some fun with again !?
Big thanks again ,we could do with a ADMC fun-day at the start of the year ,,,a shake down type of thing ?

Thanks for letting us on at the last minute Janet. I really enjoyed the day and looking forward to the next one (if I'm allowed back) lol

I have some good in-car footage but need to edit before I can link for all to see.

Does anyone know who was the driver of the light blue Subaru that collided with the VW (Golf I think)just before the chicane? (I have it on video!)

No problem madmac - I will definately be having a hurl next time. I was lucky enough to get a spin with Sandy Forrest in one of the cupras which was great fun, but all the gadgets and gizmos were kicking in cause the car thought it was going to have an accident. According to the family thats the only day of the year when I am smiling!!! Still cant keep my mouth shut tho - usually asking if the car can go any faster!!!

I cant think who had the bump - normally I can recognise folk by their car - cause I am useless with names - old age setting in!!! Cant wait to see the incar footage.

Madmac, have you a link to the video that I could see? It was my friend Martin in his black VR6 Golf that was rubbing paint with the Subaru. I was there with another friend in his mk2 Golf turbo.

Btw, thanks for organising a great day Janet. Much fun and great to catch up with a few people.

Ali, I haven't had the time to edit the video yet so it's still in my camcorder. The incident is very clear however.... Being a newish camcorder, I haven't sussed editing yet but I'll post it as soon as I have it edited.

If it's a newish camera, it should be PC compatible. Use Windows Movie Maker to edit your programs - real easy!

Hope this helps smile
