We are running a trackday on the 22nd of February 2008.
It will be run from 1pm to 5pm.

£70 per CAR, extra drivers are Free.
Tickets can be ordered via

There is the option to pay in full or pay a 50% deposit.
Ideally we would prefer 100% payments ASAP to get firm numbers.
The Online Booking uses PayPal, so you can use Credit/Debit Cards or Bank Transfers.. Whichever you setup in your PayPal. If you would prefer not to use PayPal cheques will be fine. Email for details.
If the 50% Deposit option is chosen full payment will be required around the beginning of February.
If numbers are sufficient, ARDS Driving Instructors will be present, and available.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch

Would be a shame if you don't get sufficient interest to go ahead, but you might struggle to get enough firm bookings to guarantee not losing money especially for the February event. I would go if weather OK, but February can be dodgy. R888 don't like snow. Hence would be reluctant to book in advance. Also with mid-week events, a lot of people don't know up front if they can make it due to work committments. Many seem to book late or just show up on the day for the Hot Marques or Dreadnought evenings. Good luck.
We (SIDC) stopped doing the mid week events a few years ago, as it was very difficult to get the numbers needed to break even. Many people are very reluctant to take a days holiday to do an event these days, or a half day if it's an evening event, unless of course they are lucky enough to live within a short drive of the circuit.
We also had problems with people getting there on time for the 6pm - 8pm sessions, due to variable (awful) traffic on the Forth Road Bridge.
Having said that, we did always have quite a lot of last minute and on the day interest for mid-week events, I guess as people found out they could come along after all.
Hope you manage to get enough interest to run the events

Adam, yes fewer Imprezas taking part these days, but many of those taking part at our events previously owned one, used it on track and have now moved onto things like Exiges, Caterhams etc for a more focussed track experience.
We didn't have many EVOs for a few years apart from some regulars, but this year has seen much more interest from the EVO owners taking part, and also a renewed interest from the TVR owners.
In the past when we've really struggled for numbers, Knockhill gave me a few contacts who might be interested (other club organisers), which got a few more people booked up, though these tend to be pay on the day due to short notice.
Cheers

It's open pit lane, so you can spend as much or as little time out on track as you want.
Overtaking on the left only and only on the straights.
At the beginning of this year KH introduced new requirements that cars had to have an MOT or passed scrutineering by Knockhill to get on track.
In saying that though, we've never had to show our MOT certificate for the skyline.

Thanks, sounds a good days sport I will see if I can muster a couple of TVR’s from the Borders.
Is there a scrutineer there every track day or do you have to book one and is there any restriction in car type e.g. open or closed wheels I also have a single seater I need to rack some track miles up on.
