Hello. Does anyone know of a reputable rolling road garage in the Glasgow area where I could check the bhp figures of my 4wd 993tt? Any ideas for the likely cost of this?

Thanks in advance
G

I think Robinson tuning in Cambuslang have a 4wd rolling road.

I have not had much luck with them since Mel the owner took a back seat but they used to be shit hot.
may be just my bad luck.

Also AVA tuning next to Glasgow airport, i think they are still in on the go i have not been there in years.

Search google for these companies.

Good luck

Can you give an update if you get your car checked. Might be
fun to stick my car on, totally standard, but I'd like to see
the figures.

Take a trip up to Star Performance in Fife - www.starperformance.co.uk - took my Clio on the rollers there and would recommend you use them. Hope this helps.

I've used most of them, and Falkland in Glenrothes is my personal favourite.

Star Performance do all our supercharged cars power runs, they are very good and the figures are real, due to the fact that they have their kit calibrated on a regular basis.

Mega thread resurrection folks. biggrin

Central belt preferred, but who is recommended these days is good with setting up carbs? Ideally also with a rolling road facility. There are about three or four of us needing set up.

We have 2 x Alfa 2.0 Nord, 1 x X1/9 1.5 and my 1.7 Sprint.

Many thanks

The AVA guys out at Glasgow airport did my MG B twin carbs a few years ago and also have a rolling road. I'd happily use them again.

Would definitely recommend them too, been a few years since I was there though

I have recently been recomended S.O.S motorsport in Falkirk or MAC Motorsport in Dundee by my regular garage in Edinburgh for a rolling road as I was looking to find out what power my car actually produces.
