A friend of mine's son had his XR2i nicked from Port Elphinstone last night between midnight and 6am. White with alloys reg No. K130 BLS. If anyone has seen or heard of it in the grapevine, let me know or call Grampian Police 0845 5006700

We reckon it's probably been stolen to break for parts so if anyone gets offered XR2i bits, again pass on details

How can I post photos on here?

Thanks for looking

Was it parked up by the houses alongside the canal?

Didn't realise the Port was such a hot bed of crime, hope my car is safe in its bed.

one of my pals, just been speaking to him. car is now with the police and tests are being carried out, he does not know if there is any damage or if they know who did it.

invercerb, it is the one down beside the canal, the road just down from your house.

From what he saw it didn't look badly damaged but the police are doing their 'forensic' stuff now. Seems the thief was pretty stupid though. Lets face it, how many white XR2's are there around and he was driving it through town so was bound to be spotted! Hope they catch the scum that nicked it. He deserves to have his hands chopped off but will probably get off with a caution

At least the car's back in safe hands

hmmm makes me nervious i work well near Port E, often late as well... have raced (ie told em to f**k off) lads from the car park late at night over the years. And a white XR2i, i havent seen one in years, glad its not torched or destroyed. You boys sound round the corner from me!
