ADMC - MSA Club of the Year 2007!

The best news this week is that Aberdeen & District Motor Club is the winner of the MSA Club of the Year Award 2007.

This is a great achievement for the club and is testament to the hard work and commitment from those involved in organising and running the various events and other activities.

We should all congratulate them - for a local club to be recognised in this way is great for Scottish motor sport and especially the North East of Scotland.

Congratulations to them, that is good news. I was very impressed with them at the recent rounds at Alford. Having organised race events in the past myself I know how difficult it is and can be so big congratulations to them on this success.

I'm glad you posted this David. I heard about it this morning but didn't know if it was in the public domain.

This is absolutely massive for the club.

Testament to the work Graham Bruce and the committee have put in to reviving it's fortunes.

Brilliant effort on their part and nice one Janet.

As you say, it's great for Scotland too.

Absolutely, Having been a previous member for about 10 years in the eighties into the nineties and stalwart of fintray, The Granite, Checkpoint stages, PCT, Autotest etc, I congratulate the club and hope this is only the beginning.

Might even rejoin, after all the centenary is coming up soon!

Graham & I have been overwhelmed by the all the kind words we have received over the last couple of days. We are really proud of ADMC and everyone in the club - but we also want to say a big thankyou to all the other motor clubs, the numerous championships, competitors, marshals, rescue and recovery, paramedics,timekeepers, photographers, sponsors, all our old friends and the new friends we have met along the way. ADMC couldnot have done it without you.
