I need a bit of hel about your Dodve Viper GTS, if its reg is ** VPR.

I have been told from good sources that the black with sivler stripes combo is rare, one of only 150-200 made. Supposedly only 2-3 are out of America.

What I would like to know, just for my information, is has it got the cognac interior(making it one of 26)?

cheers mate, or anyone that can help me out!

hello mate, couldnt remember my password. Thanks for your comments r.e my viper. The car is a 99 GTS which was a rare find in the UK as most are either early tatty 97 models or 2000+ creampuff cars. The 99 had all the goodies of later models but kept the forged lambo built block and lumpy race cam.
I looked at a couple in the UK in black but 2 had the cognac interior and i am really not a fan of that. Black on black is favoured.
Are you looking for a viper?

I wish! its a little out of my range. Its just the first viper I had seen on the streets and it sounded and looked beautiful! Its a treat to see go by. I'll pop up a pic if you want.

Hi Koopa, I thought your car had aftermarket stick on stripes which means that it is just a plain black GTS which is not as rare a car?

I can't say that I have ever seen to many tatty 97 GTS, some say the blue and white is the best/most classic

Steadyrock, here is a link to the viper register http://www.theviperregistry.org/index.php

Hi Colin -

yes blue and white 97's are the enthusiasts choice and i personally would love one more than any other viper. However, in my search for one, i never saw a good one for sale. Although different cars are sold all the time. Im just speaking from past experience.

R.E my viper, yes my stripes are vinyl and will be coming off soon i may add. I do however believe that as the car is a 99 model it is a rarity in the uk and is desirable due to the features that you will no doubt know about being a viper owner yourself?

Regardless, any viper in the UK is a rare sight "plain" or not and i am still to see another one in Glasgow even though i know some are here!! :S biggrin

Changing the topic slightly.

I know your brother. I was a student in his classes. Top-notch bloke I think he is brilliant!

Is his arm OK and has he bought a new bike yet?

Anyway back to the subject of Vipers! biggrin
