The A720 City bypass?

Looks like something west bound near Baberton caused problems. Rubber necking arseholes held me up east bound on the one day I needed the car instead of bike.

Don't know what the problem might have been but at 0840 only the yellow support van and a traffic car appeared to be there. Was more interested in keeping an eye on my side of the road.

Trevor - hate to disagree but having suffered both I can confirm there is little worse than the Embra city by pass of a school day morning - funnily enuf, in the school holidays it always runs comparitively fine - now I wonder why that might be? scratchchin

Randomly, and against all the odds i escaped !

About 8:15 i joined at Dreghorn to head eastbound. There were cones on the slip road entrance but they werent blocking it off, so i went down the ramp onto the earily quiet bypass.

Just me, a few vans coming out of the restrictions, and a rozza traveling eastbound on the closed westbound caridgeway. Reminded me of the beginning of Vanilla Sky !

Got to work quicker than normal.

Had to head on at Dreghorn instead of the usual Hillend - possibly due to the small loch under the flyover at Dreghorn biggrin

Wasn't too bad considering.
