Just advertised my JZA70 1JZ engined mk3 Supra in the classifieds so figured I'd sign up for the forums rather than being rude.
My name is Brian, I'm 27 from West Lothian. I've still got a mk4 TT Supra which I tend to drag race and recently won Redline Ultimate Scottish Street Car 2007 at Crail with, both RWD and overall classes It's my baby and gets pampered, don't think I could ever sell it after the time and effort I and my Dad / brother have put into it (we do all work ourselves) not to mention the money on parts!
This certainly looks like a very busy forum!
Cheers,
Brian.

Yeah it gets used all right
11.90 is my best 1/4 mile time so far, best 1/4 mile terminal speed has been 121 MPH.
Still running stock jap spec ceramic turbos (at 1.1bar boost), stock unopened engine (no cams) and stock fuel system.
I have spent some cash on the drivetrain, on a piggyback ECU which I've mapped myself on the road and on those 'little things' - I tend to upgrade / uprate whatever I'm replacing.
The brakes for example got junked when we found a hairline fracture by one of the bleed nipples on one of the weedy jap spec calipers - bought the bigger US market setup with massive 4-pot front and 2-pot rear calipers brand new along with 323mm Brembo OEM style discs and Hawk HPS+ (made by Brembo) pads. Also at the time decided to fit Goodridge stainless brake hoses all round with Motul RBF600 fluid. What a huuuuge difference to the braking performance that made!

Do you use that Supra on the road on those rims (TE37's?).
Car looks familiar. I am often on the road around Linlithgow, Livi and Shotts area.
Yes They're Rota GTR's though. I tend to drive around West Calder, Livi, Bathgate areas in it but have been in both Shotts and Linlithgow... in fact Linlithgow a few times as I like the chop and ale house at the Champany Best steak in Britain IMO.Car looks familiar. It's not my daily driver - I do a lot of miles with work so have a new BMW 320 Coupe for that, my work pays me a car allowance because they expect me to have a nice newish car when representing them on customer sites. The 320 works out well as I've managed 48 MPG in it on a Bradford to Bathgate trip!!!
Cheers,
Brian.

lol tbh it was a case of the less torque you had the better early in the day whilst it was pissing down! I would launch at a mere 1,500rpm and try to increase to 1,700rpm only to find the back end stepping out straight away. In fact I couldn't go full throttle at all until it dried out a bit. That said, I don't think the Micra got the better of me!
Cheers,
