The track is adjacent too and part of the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford Aberdeenshire.
This track is utilised by most of the local car clubs and is also used for Sprint events.
Entry is £5 per car, free to public.
No need to reserve a space, plenty of room through out the day.
If you are not a member of any of the organising clubs but OWN a TVR, MG, Triumph, Lotus or Aston Martin, then you are welcome, but please report to one of the respective organisers for rules and regulations and to join one of the clubs. This is required with respect to insurances etc. If you do not comply you will be asked politely to move you car to the public car park.
I am on holiday as of this afternoon, therefore this is my last correspondence. Assume the above info is quite clear.
See you next Sunday (19th).

Can anyone post or link to the clubs above as there are a few Lotus 7 club members in Aberdeen wishing to attend in our Caterhams and other 7 type cars but dont know if the Lotus club above is different.I am on holiday as of this afternoon, therefore this is my last correspondence. We of course want to take our little toys out on the circuit but if we have to join a club beforehand to get in then would be nice to know 1) If we are allowed to join any of the above clubs and 2) how much that would cost.
Sorry for the silly questions but there could be 4 or 5 cars which would be a nice? display.
Cheers
Dave
I've done a search on the web and even in the mighty P&J, but have not managed to find anything out about this event.
It's not mentioned in Club Lotus bumf, so presumably it's not a CL recognised event and if I turn up I'll have to join some other club.
Anybody know which one and how much?

Now....who has some photos of me sideways....
At least you managed to keep it muddy side up Commiseration’s to the Noble and Griff who swapped paint with the Armco!
Was great to see so many Tivs and i guess the weather could have been worse, typically the sun came out when i had to leave
So how did it go and how did you get any information on it?
I tried and failed so ended up at Miller Plant buying new wellies and a dog bed.
I'd rather have been at Alford and if I could have made a good case to my darling lady wife, I'm sure I could have got the necessary pass for an hour or two, but as I could not find any info about the event anywhere, I wasn't allowed a blank cheque to drive to Alford on the off-chance.
Did any Lotus turn up?

I got the impression that it was more of a club event for club members, in this case the MG owners club and TVRCC NES (Thanks Barry).I tried and failed so ended up at Miller Plant buying new wellies and a dog bed.

I remember a Lotus Excel sliding round the track, don't recall any others though. There was a least 22 Tivs there, so a great turn out considering how badly the weather was Sunday morning.
